Manager, Retail Credit

Your Responsibilities As a Manager, Retail Credit for John Deere Financial in Johnston, IA, you will provide expertise and direction for underwriting a portfolio of the largest and most complex Ag & Turf customers where difficult policy or credit risk decision may be involved. In addition, you will: Direct the development and implementation of processes and procedures to proactively monitor the financial performance, creditworthiness and credit availability of the largest and most complex Ag & Turf customers. Develop and maintain business relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, dealers, equipment division sales managers, JDF sales managers and others required to effectively manage large A&T credit relationships. Contribute to the development, implementation, and adherence to credit policy to assure portfolio quality and profitability. Provide leadership and direction by coaching, counseling, mentoring and evaluation of staff members. Initiates and works with each employee to establish stretch performance and development goals that are in alignment with department, unit and enterprise objectives. Monitor throughout the year the employee's progress level and their competency. Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this position. What Skills You Need 5 or more years of credit underwritingexperience Credit evaluation and leadership skills and experience Experience with legal and compliance issues governing a process or set of processes Experience with the agriculture industry Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally up to 25% What Makes You Stand Out 8 or more years of experience working in the finance industry 11 or more years of Credit acceptance or related experience 4 or more years of managerial experience, which includes leadership, issue management, motivation and/or team building Knowledge of market(s) distributionchannels and customers Knowledge of operational systems, accounting, and process improvement methodologies Education (or equivalent work experience) Bachelor's degree in a Business/Management discipline or in an Accounting/Finance discipline

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
