Provide Information Systems Operator Training Teams (ISOTT) to assist unit commanders, and the MTCs, in operator and leader IS training as well as systems support to enable integration into a digital command and control architecture for full spectrum operations in a joint, interagency, intergovernmental, and multinational environment.
Conduct Interoperability test planning for new versions of IS. New versions of IS SW are constantly being fielded to correct deficiencies in SW, changes in doctrine, and other factors. As each version is fielded, the entire suite of systems must be checked for interoperability to ensure that functionality is maintained.
Installation of IS software (SW) and hardware. Maintain IS with current SW baselines IAW Training & Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Capabilities Manager (TCM)-Mission Command guidance in coordination with the Training Support Branch (ARNG-TRS).
provide training on-site at the MTCs and off-site through the employment of MTTs, to specific units/activities as required. Allocation of resources to IS training is conducted in concert with the MTC-Commander. Support will include full-time on-site personnel to provide day-to-day IS training and support for all Army IS, operational prototypes, and additional systems being used on an interim basis until systems are formally integrated into the family of Army IS. Systems to be trained include, but are not limited to: Joint Capabilities Release (JCR) and Force XXI Battle Command, Brigade and Below (FBCB2), Command Post of the Future (CPoF), Distributed Common Ground System-Army (DCGS-A), Global Command and Control System-Army (GCCS-A), Battle Command Sustainment and Support System ( BCS3) and Sustainment System Mission Command (S2MC), Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS), Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS), Air & Missile Defense Workstation (AMDWS) and future systems as they evolve. Create and provide IS training plans and POIs that meet or exceed current TRADOC Regulation 350-70 standards and update MTC public, AKO, and GKO websites. This duties mentioned are not all inclusive.
Experience as a trainer or instructor is highly desirable.
Certified and qualified per IS system PM on specific IS equipment.
Digital Master Gunner is highly desirable.
Recent experience or participation in military constructive training exercises is highly desirable.
Two years related experience as an Army Information System Operator (or similar)
Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
