What You'll Do
The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company''s regular full-time staff, and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule. Major duties include:
Loading and maintaining data for approved suppliers in the ERP (Enterprise Resource Program) and any related systems as required
Loading data for parts (new and updates) in the ERP and related systems including tracking of expired agreements
Assisting Supply Management with writing new and updating old procedures
Assembling and distributing reports on department and supplier metrics to Supply Management and MLT (Management Leadership Team) as identified including, but not limited to: a. Parts with no standard cost loaded b. Monthly metrics c. Forecasts
Assisting and supporting Supply Management with special projects as identified
Providing general support for the Supply Management department including clerical support, coordinating lunches/meetings/celebrations, and maintaining department records
## Qualifications
What It Takes
We need excellent communicators, who thrive on solving problems and working in a team environment. Ideally, you will be pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Engineering, IT; others may qualify. In addition we require:
Must be registered as a full-time student
Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis
Grad date - May 2016 or later
Cumulative GPA of 2.8 and above
15 - 20 hours/week during the academic year
35 - 40 hours/week during the summer semester
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
80% or higher Excel assessment score
Supporting and covering for the security desk when needed
A strong candidate will also have:
Working knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Program) or MRP (Material Resource Planning) systems
